A face only a mother could love…
January was supposed to be our “get back into the swing of things” month after the holidays in late December and early January. And overall we had a great start to 2008. Once again, our friend Ouryu graced us with his presence, and once again we were grateful for his donations to our LS coffers!
Variety was the name of the game for January, although Sea really stood out as a strong point. Some of the Jailers continue to confound us with their stingy drop rates (Justice, why you hate so much?…) but the mysterious gods of Vana D’iel were apparently willing to give us a little extra this month, perhaps as a late Christmas gift.
As a result I have dubbed January “Month of the Torques” in honor of members are celebrating some newly acquired Sea Torques. Scroll down and check out our loot, and you will understand why.

Although we did go to Sky early in the month, sadly only one SS was taken. It was a momentous occasion as perhaps the longest running joke in Knights was finally put to rest.
I don’t know who to hate more. Seiryu who refused to drop an M. Head for seven months (and of course dropped one on our very next kill 15 minutes later) or my own LS whose cruell M. Head jokes sent me to bed in tears every night! Bastards..
The joke however was on them. Watch for February’s update to find out why.
